About Us!
Hi ya'll! My name is Nicole and my partner is Tyler. Tyler and I have been together since 2018 and over the past few years we have been laying the foundation to begin our own breeding program. I grew up with Labradors, but never had one in my adult life until Shock, our first chocolate Lab. We are excited to add Wednesday to the family, who will hopefully be our foundation bitch! She has an impressive multi-purpose pedigree, check out her page for more information!
Throughout my twenties I worked at and fostered for a local rescue and handled numerous breeds and mixes, but I never found "my breed". I have never forgot those Labradors I grew up with, so I went to a local dog show and the rest is history. I unearthed a passion that I did not know was there. This is my breed, this breed is my heart. We believe in the breed standard. We believe in the power and function of versatility. We believe in the dog that can show in the ring, load into the car and head to a sporting event, then nap on the couch for family movie night. We do not believe in the fat, lumbering dogs that couldn't swim for 5 minutes that sometimes win in the show ring. Together we can remind people what the Labrador Retriever is supposed to look like and all that they can do. Together we can encourage others to title on both ends of the name. Together we can show people that we don't need the split of "English", or show/bench bred, and "American", or field bred, because the breed is supposed to do it all to its core.
We participate in AKC and UKC, conformation, dock diving, and hunt tests. We will be trying nose work, barn hunt, and rally in 2024!

RKF JCH/CH Fali Heaven's Gate
"Halo" - retired, spayed
Halo is Shock's mom, she was a Russian import and is the sweetest girl to have ever lived. She came to us in February 2023 when the breeder that owned her decided it was time for her to retire and find her forever couch. She is the sweetest dog and is thoroughly enjoying retirement!

"Shock" - hunt, sport
Shock is Halo's daughter. She was intended to be the foundation of our breeding program, but unfortunately she has moderate hip dysplasia graded by the OFA and has struggled with some fear reactivity issues. We participate in retriever hunt tests and dock diving, and we are dipping our toes into some new things soon!
KAJA
Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Pit Bull mix, spayed
Kaja was a $50 Craigslist dog. Her first owners were being stationed in another country (military family) and they had to re-home her asap at 3.5 months old. She has always been a bit aloof, but she is a big lover and wants nothing more than to snuggle. Ball is LIFE!
